InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah welcomes The Champion’s Brew, a barista takeover by Georgius Audrey Teja, also known as Odi, the 2025 World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion, in collaboration with Omakafé.
The experience presents a three-course, non-alcoholic coffee omakase inspired by Indonesian heritage. Each course combines familiar local flavours with creative coffee techniques, offering guests an unexpected take on traditional tastes.
The first course uses an Indonesian root transformed into a syrup with citrus, with coffee taking the place of soda. The second course draws inspiration from klepon, combining pandan, coconut and palm sugar in a clear drink. The final course reimagines wedang with espresso, pandan and ginger, topped with coconut cream and nutmeg.
The experience takes place at The Lounge, located on the lobby level beneath its signature chandelier. For the month of October, the space becomes a setting for Indonesian flavours, coffee and storytelling.
Audrey describes coffee as a way to communicate ideas, emotions and stories, with each course inspired by familiar Indonesian ingredients and memories.
Audrey will be at The Lounge on Thursday, 1 October 2026, from 2:00pm to open the collaboration and meet guests. The Champion’s Brew runs until 31 October 2026.
