Noema Gili Trawangan is preparing to open on 23 October 2026, with sustainability at the heart of its approach. As Gili Trawangan continues to face challenges around waste management and environmental protection, Noema Resort Gili Trawangan by JHL Collection is introducing its “Green Blueprint” to reduce its environmental impact and support the island’s ecosystem.

The resort is installing an on-site Composter Machine to process organic waste and turn it into natural fertiliser for the property’s gardens and green spaces. It is also developing a hydroponic farm to grow fresh produce on-site, helping reduce the need for imported ingredients while providing guests with locally grown food.

Noema is also working towards reducing single-use plastics across the resort by gradually introducing more environmentally friendly alternatives. Through these initiatives, the resort aims to combine a relaxing island experience with more responsible and sustainable operations.
Noema Gili Trawangan will officially welcome guests on 23 October 2026. For more information, please visit their website or follow them on Instagram.
