Project-Based Early Learning Comes to Jakarta, Combining Quality Education with Parental Involvement
Trehaus, a leading Singapore-based early education company, has launched its first international preschool and daycare in Jakarta at Sentral Senayan I. Catering to children aged 18 months to 6 years, Trehaus School provides modern Indonesian parents with an unparalleled holistic learning experience for their young children.
With a focus on project and play-based learning, Trehaus School Jakarta employs the unique Trehaus Method, which combines elements from the Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Ecological Systems theories. This innovative approach is powered by Little Lab, Trehaus’s EdTech platform, allowing teachers to create customized learning experiences that nurture each child’s growth.
Transformative Learning Environment
Trehaus School Jakarta features indoor and outdoor learning spaces designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for discovery. The light-filled classrooms encourage interactive, play-based learning, while the urban garden fosters a natural exploration experience beyond classroom walls.
A Unique Partnership with Parents
Trehaus’s concept of a “modern village” encourages parental engagement by providing families with open workspaces, call booths, and an onsite café where they can relax or work while staying close to their child’s educational journey.
Global Expansion and Education Equity
“Indonesia is key to our expansion, and we are excited to bring Trehaus School to Jakarta,” said Sabrina Tan, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Trehaus School Jakarta. “Our research shows that Indonesian parents are looking for high-quality, holistic early childhood education, and Trehaus fills that gap perfectly.”
Trehaus empowers teachers to deliver tailored lessons and play-based assessments through the Little Lab platform, bridging educational inequality and enhancing the global preschool landscape.
