The Papandayan Jazz Fest (TPJF) 2025 was successfully held on 4–5 October 2025 at The Papandayan Hotel, Bandung, marking ten years as one of Indonesia’s most consistent and respected jazz festivals. With the theme “A Culture Resonance”, this year’s festival celebrated the harmony between music, culture, and creative communities — a spirit that continues to grow from Bandung to the world.

The two-day festival featured a diverse line-up of artists across generations and genres, including Barry Likumahuwa feat. Trie Utami, Dwiki Dharmawan feat. Rimar, The Sisters (Imelda Rosalin, Arina Mocca, and Dee Lestari), as well as Afgan, HIVI!, and Iwa K. Each performance brought fresh collaborations that blended jazz with pop, ethnic sounds, and modern urban music.

A key highlight of TPJF 2025 was the launch of Pasar Jazz, a dedicated area showcasing local F&B and small businesses (UMKM). This new addition expanded the festival’s reach beyond music, offering visitors a taste of Bandung’s creative economy with local food, crafts, and live performances — turning TPJF into a true community celebration.

The opening night featured several memorable moments, including a Lifetime Achievement Award for the late Harry Roesli, the signing of the “A Beacon of Jazz From Bandung to the World” inscription by Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan, and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Bandung City Government to TP Jazz Management founders — Bobby Renaldi, Hari Pochang, and Venche Manuhutu. The Papandayan Hotel also received a MURI (Indonesian World Record Museum) award as the first hotel in Indonesia to host a jazz festival consistently for ten consecutive years.

The festival closed on a high note with Iwa K electrifying the Ron88 Stage, performing classic 90s hits such as “Bebas” and “Kuingin Kembali”, with the crowd singing along in unison.

Speaking about the milestone, Bobby Renaldi, Founder of TP Jazz Management and General Manager of The Papandayan Hotel, said, “We feel responsible for carrying that statement. It means we are a platform for both young and senior musicians. In this tenth year, with the theme ‘A Culture Resonance,’ we want to amplify the spirit of openness born from TPJF — a meeting ground across ages, genres, and art forms. Here, jazz becomes a host for other arts and musical genres, belonging to everyone who ultimately learns to embrace and love jazz itself.”

The 10th anniversary of TPJF 2025 was not only a celebration of its achievements but also a promise for the future — that Bandung will remain a home for creativity, collaboration, and cultural harmony.

Supported by Media Group, Ron88, MLD Spot, and numerous community and art partners, TPJF 2025 once again proved that the sound of jazz from Bandung continues to resonate around the world.
