This Ramadan, Keyaki Japanese Restaurant invites diners to experience The Art of Chōwa: A Harmony of Japanese Iftar Above the City, a refined Japanese iftar served on Level 90 of Pan Pacific Jakarta. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Chōwa (harmony), the menu is thoughtfully designed to help restore balance after a day of fasting.
Set high above the city, the restaurant offers a calm iftar atmosphere with light umami flavours, modern techniques, and balanced nutrition. Each dish is created to gently awaken the palate while reflecting the mindful spirit of Ramadan.
The experience begins with a Yuzu Kurma Compote made from premium Medjool dates infused with yuzu, alongside Matcha Panna Cotta with kuromitsu and Sakura Water with aloe and shiratama. At the sashimi live station, diners can enjoy refined cuts of Tasmanian salmon, Lombok maguro, Pacific seabass, and white ika, served in balanced portions.
For warm main courses, the Robatayaki Grill features wagyu skewers and Australian ribeye slowly cooked over an open flame. A Wagyu Sukiyaki live station presents Tokyo-style sukiyaki, prepared with thinly sliced Australian wagyu simmered in a sweet-savory sauce, complemented by vegetables, tofu, and silky onsen tamago.
The experience continues at the teppanyaki grill, offering Australian wagyu ribeye, chicken thigh, gindara fish, king prawns, and seasonal vegetables cooked à la minute to preserve their natural flavours.
To finish, diners can enjoy light Japanese desserts, including Sakura flower mochi and mini dorayaki filled with delicately cooked azuki beans, offering a gentle sweetness suited to Ramadan.
The Art of Chōwa: A Harmony of Japanese Iftar Above the City is available throughout Ramadan at Keyaki Japanese Restaurant, Level 90, with prices starting from IDR 588,000++ per person. Pacific DISCOVERY members receive up to 25% off the public rate.
