Sudamala Resorts, together with Sudamala Bumi Insani Foundation, is bringing the Bali Pink Ribbon Roadshow to Lombok this May through a meaningful two-part community outreach initiative focused on women’s health and early breast cancer detection.
Held in collaboration with Bali Pink Ribbon, the programme aims to raise awareness about breast cancer, encourage proactive health screening, and provide accessible medical services directly to local communities.
As part of the roadshow, complimentary breast cancer screening sessions will be available at two locations across Lombok:
- 5 May 2026 — Kantor Desa Senggigi
- 6 May 2026 — Kantor Desa Medana
- Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Breast cancer remains one of the most common health concerns affecting women worldwide, with early detection continuing to play a vital role in improving treatment outcomes. Through this initiative, Sudamala Resorts and Sudamala Bumi Insani Foundation hope to empower communities with greater awareness, knowledge, and access to preventive healthcare services.
According to Sri Nuka, who also serves as Chairwoman of the foundation, the initiative reflects the belief that hospitality should extend beyond resort walls and into the surrounding community. The programme is intended to support women’s health awareness while encouraging early action through regular screening.
That sentiment was echoed by Nancy, who highlighted the importance of bringing education and early detection directly to communities in Lombok. She noted that initiatives like this play an important role in encouraging women to prioritise regular health checks and take proactive steps for their wellbeing.
The Bali Pink Ribbon Roadshow in Lombok is supported by Desa Senggigi, Desa Medana, Siloam Hospitals, and The Pink Community, whose shared commitment helps strengthen the impact of the programme.
Through initiatives like this, Sudamala Resorts continues to reinforce its commitment to social responsibility and wellness-focused community engagement across Indonesia.
