Three Hotels Receive Prestigious MICHELIN Keys
The MICHELIN Key Awards for 2025 were announced in October following extensive anonymous assessments by MICHELIN Inspectors. Similar to MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, MICHELIN Keys recognise only the finest hotels. Accor is pleased to confirm that two of its properties in Vietnam – Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and Hotel de la Coupole Sapa – MGallery Collection – along with one property in Thailand, V Villas Hua Hin – MGallery Collection, were each awarded 1 MICHELIN Key.
MICHELIN praised the 124-year-old Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi for immersing guests in both history and modern elegance. “Not every hotel can get away with using the word ‘legend,’ but there’s nothing else quite like the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi,” the MICHELIN Guide noted.
Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery Collection, which opened in 2018, has helped revive luxury travel in Sapa. Awarding the hotel 1 Key, MICHELIN commended its striking design, unique character, and high-quality facilities and service.
V Villas Hua Hin – MGallery Collection, a beachfront retreat of 28 pool villas with personal butler service, was recognised for showcasing how far Hua Hin has evolved from a quiet fishing village into one of Thailand’s most fashionable coastal destinations.
Robb Report Hong Kong and Business Traveller Awards Honour Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi has also been acknowledged by Robb Report Hong Kong, a leading publication in the luxury sector. In the “Best of the Best 2026 Travel, Experiences & Hospitality Edition,” presented in October, the hotel was named the “Iconic Historic Hotel in Hanoi.”
At the 2025 Business Traveller Awards, announced on 28 October, the hotel earned the title of “Best Business Hotel in Vietnam.” As these awards have set benchmarks in business travel for more than 40 years, this achievement reinforces the hotel’s reputation as a leader in its field.
Tatler Best Awards Highlight Asia Pacific’s Top Restaurants & Bars
The Tatler Best Awards recently announced their “100 Best” list featuring top hotels, restaurants, and bars across Asia Pacific. ST25 by KOTO, the Vietnamese restaurant at Sofitel Saigon Plaza, was selected as one of the “Tatler Best 100 Restaurants Asia Pacific” for 2025 and also named in the “Tatler Best 20 Vietnam.”
The Albion by Kirk Westaway, the modern British restaurant at Hotel des Arts Saigon – MGallery Collection, also earned a place on the “Tatler Best 100 Restaurants Asia Pacific” list for 2025, having previously been awarded “Tatler Best Vietnam: Restaurant of the Year” for 2025.
Condé Nast Traveler Readers Celebrate Asia’s Top Hotels & Resorts
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2025 honour the world’s finest travel experiences, as voted by readers in the USA and UK. These awards are considered among the highest marks of excellence in luxury travel.
In this year’s results, readers of Condé Nast Traveler USA ranked Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort as the #4 “Best Resort in Asia,” and Hotel de la Coupole Sapa – MGallery Collection as the #2 “Best Hotel in Southeast Asia.”
In the UK edition, readers named Hotel des Arts Saigon – MGallery Collection as the #5 “Best Hotel in Southeast Asia,” while Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort was recognised as the #15 “Best Resort in Thailand.”
Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Celebrate Premium Stays in Asia
The Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific honour the region’s finest hotels as chosen by readers of Travel + Leisure. Earlier this year, Accor’s luxury properties earned several distinctions.
Sofitel Luang Prabang was named the #9 “Best Hotel” and #4 “Best Hotel Pool” in Laos. Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort ranked as the #9 “Best Beach Resort” in Indonesia, and Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences received the award for South Korea’s #5 “Best Hotel Pool.”
