Shu Cuisine & Bar and Omacoffee Brewers are joining forces for The Art of Pairing, a unique dining collaboration that brings together Sichuan cuisine and specialty coffee.
Inspired by the Japanese concept of omakase, meaning “I’ll leave it up to you”, the experience features a curated selection of Sichuan dishes paired with specialty filter coffee from Omacoffee Brewers.
The collaboration explores how coffee can complement the bold flavours of Sichuan cuisine, balancing spice, aroma, acidity, sweetness and texture to create a distinctive dining experience.
Founded in Jakarta in 2023, Omacoffee Brewers is a specialty coffee company inspired by the omakase philosophy. Its slow-bar concept focuses on filter coffee and manual brewing, creating a more personal and immersive coffee experience.
Through The Art of Pairing, Shu Cuisine & Bar and Omacoffee Brewers showcase coffee in a new way, highlighting how carefully selected brews can complement and enhance the complexity of Sichuan cuisine.
