Raffles Bali has completely transformed its iconic oceanfront restaurant, Loloan
Beach Bar & Grill, into Loloan Coastal Peruvian. The resort has merged the relaxed luxury of Jimbaran Beach with the bold spirit of Peru’s Pacific Coast, offering a major flavour upgrade that combines ocean breezes, live-fire cooking and unique culture.
Loloan is the Balinese word for estuary, a place of transition, balance and exchange. Situated on a secluded beach at Raffles Bali, the venue boasts stunning views of Mount Batukaru and Mount Agung framing the horizon on clear days. The location tells the story and creates an environment you’ll want to savour.

The inspiration behind Loloan’s new concept revolves around two iconic ocean cultures sharing the same traditions. In Peru, fishermen have conquered the waves using handwoven reed boats called caballitos de totora for generations. Over in Bali, the fishermen launch the jukung boat into the water before sunrise. Although hailing from different corners of the planet, both fishing cultures are guided by a deep respect for the ocean.
Loloan’s new menu is a shoutout to the heroes of the coast, fishermen and farmers whose deep connection to nature inspires every dish. Loloan works directly with local fishing communities, including Pak Oka, a fisherman who heads out each evening and returns with the day’s catch. This means you’re getting the freshest ingredients on your plate. The creations balance bright artistic flavours and boldness beautifully, highlighting super fresh ceviches and tiraditos sitting alongside vibrant plant-based creations and smoky grilled delights.

The venue is designed to move effortlessly with your mood. During the day, it’s bright and buzzing, perfect if you’re looking for your next lazy lunch spot in Jimbaran. By night, the live grill ignites, performances start, and the bar turns into a stage for theatrical cocktail making. Diners will experience relaxed vibes and bold new flavours in a warm and welcoming environment.
The newly launched Loloan brings something refined, accessible and totally unique to South Bali’s dining scene. Whether you’re staying at the resort, an island expat, or just driving back from a day trip to Uluwatu or Nusa Dua, Loloan is one to add to your Jimbaran dining list!
