Novotel Launches Longevity Week to Encourage Everyday Wellness Habits

Novotel, Accor’s founding brand, has launched Longevity Everyday, a new initiative designed to support guests’ wellbeing and encourage healthier, more fulfilling lifestyles through simple daily habits.

The initiative is built around four key pillars:

  • SLEEP – Supporting mental and physical wellbeing through quality rest
  • EAT – Enjoying delicious, healthier and more sustainable food choices
  • MOVE – Making everyday movement easier and more accessible
  • MEET – Strengthening meaningful connections with others

In September 2026, Novotel introduced its inaugural Novotel Longevity Week, an annual global celebration encouraging people to live longer, healthier and happier lives through realistic habits that can easily become part of everyday routines.

Taking place during the 37th week of the year, from 7–13 September 2026, the initiative is inspired by the idea that small improvements can create significant long-term results. The concept is based on the calculation that improving by just 1% each day can compound into a 37-fold transformation over a year.

Leading the initiative is The Novotel 37 Collective, a group of athletes, experts and creators representing the four pillars of everyday longevity.

EAT: Healthier and More Sustainable Choices

As part of its focus on the EAT pillar, Novotel is developing its culinary offering with greater emphasis on flavour, wellbeing and sustainability. By the end of 2026, at least 25% of menu options across Novotel hotels are expected to be plant-forward, giving guests more balanced and thoughtful choices.

Plant-forward food creator Alfie Steiner is also part of the initiative, championing delicious and nourishing meals that support both personal and planetary wellbeing without compromising on flavour.

Longevity Week in Bali

To celebrate Longevity Week, Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences, Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai Airport and Novotel Bali Ubud Resort presented a selection of their new plant-forward dishes at a media dinner held at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences on Friday, 28 August 2026.

The menu featured:

  • Mixed Vegetables Playa with Dill
  • Beetroot Salad with Citrus
  • Lentil Soup
  • Kluwih Rendang
  • Turmeric-Citrus Rice
  • Balinese Grilled Fish with Sambal Matah
  • Brownie with Burdock and Rose

The dishes were created by the culinary teams from the three Bali Novotel properties, led by Ni Gusti Ayu Putu Suandayani, Executive Chef at Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai Airport; Wayan Mariasa, Sous Chef at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences; and Ni Luh Meira Ulan Dari, Chef de Partie at Novotel Bali Ubud Resort.

Bilal Chamsine, General Manager of Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences, said the initiative aims to show that healthier eating can be simple, enjoyable and accessible.

He added that the plant-forward dishes use everyday ingredients that can easily be found and recreated at home, demonstrating that food choices that support both personal longevity and the planet can still be delicious, satisfying and full of flavour.
