Mercure has expanded its presence in Indonesia with the opening of Mercure Berau, the first internationally branded hotel in the region. Positioned just 20 minutes from Kalimarau Airport, the hotel provides easy access to Berau’s cultural landmarks and natural wonders, including the Derawan and Maratua Islands.
The hotel features 153 rooms, suites, and villas, each designed with warm wood tones, local accents, and artwork inspired by the region’s forests and swiftlet birds. Dining options include Sanggam Bistro serving local and international cuisine, the Lobby Lounge for coffee and pastries, a Pool Bar for casual refreshments, and the soon-to-open Le 360° Rooftop Bar with panoramic views.
