Libros has officially opened as an elegant cocktail bar offering an intimate yet welcoming space for guests who appreciate meaningful conversation, refined drinks and carefully curated experiences. Located on the third floor of CasaLeña, Libros adds a fresh dimension to Jakarta’s cocktail scene, where every detail is considered and each evening unfolds at a relaxed pace.
Designed as a classic cocktail bar with a library-inspired concept, Libros blends old-world Latin American Prohibition-era charm with modern touches. The atmosphere is warm, timeless and sophisticated, inviting guests to slow down and enjoy expertly crafted cocktails.
The interior features dark wood finishes, a marble bar counter, linen chairs, chandeliers and soft ambient lighting. Vintage paintings, framed mirrors, vinyl records, globes, candlelight, books and a premium bottle display create a setting that feels personal, storied and quietly indulgent.
In addition to relaxed evenings at the bar, Libros is well suited to intimate events. With capacity for up to 60 guests in both seated and standing arrangements, the venue can host birthdays, brand events, meetings and private celebrations. Flexible seating, including sofas and bar stools, allows each occasion to be tailored while maintaining the bar’s cosy character.
Libros also offers a weekly music programme that shapes the mood of each night. Wednesdays feature Afro, Reggaeton and Latin rhythms, Thursdays highlight Tech House, Melodic Techno, Techno and Progressive sounds, Fridays focus on R&B and Hip Hop, and Saturdays combine Top 40 hits with Karaoke Night. The bar is open from Wednesday to Saturday, 5pm to 1am, providing a smooth transition from after-work drinks to late-night gatherings.
At the centre of Libros is its cocktail programme, led by Bar Manager and Mixologist Ozy Ahmad, who brings a modern approach to classic drinks. “At Libros, we wanted to
create a bar that feels intimate and unhurried, where guests can enjoy familiar cocktails
but with thoughtful twists and a sense of storytelling in every glass,” said Ozy. “It is
about respecting the classics while giving people space to slow down, connect, and
truly enjoy the experience.”
The menu features timeless classics alongside contemporary interpretations, with eight signature cocktails including favourites such as Spicy Mathilda and Coco and the Coconut. Premium spirits and curated bites complete the experience.
For private events, guests may bring their own DJ or choose music curated by the Libros team, reflecting the venue’s philosophy: Your night, your rules, our bar.
