On the 18th February 2025, Hotel Tentrem Jakarta launched “Tentrem Rona Jawi,” a global cultural initiative celebrating the heritage of Javanese artistry through collaborations in fashion, music, art and wellness.
Honouring Indonesia’s cultural legacy, this program is set to showcase Javanese traditions through movement and creativity, bringing them to life with vibrant expression.
Muhammad Yuslan, General Manager of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, stated, “This cultural series is how the hotel wants to represent local culture to the world. Through ‘Tentrem Rona Jawi,’ we aim to create meaningful collaborations that not only showcase Javanese heritage but also ensure its continued appreciation and preservation.”
For Tentrem Rona Jawi’s debut, Hotel Tentrem Jakarta has teamed up with Oemah Etnik (OE), a brand known for blending Indonesia’s heritage with modern fashion and craftsmanship. This collaboration aims to preserve traditional artistry whilst also highlighting the beauty of Indonesian culture.
Inspired by OE’s theme of “Roots; The Foundation We All Need,” the Raya 2025 collection emphasises the strength found in embracing one’s heritage. Like how roots anchor a tree, family and culture provide stability and support to navigate challenges in life.
The launch of OE’s flagship store at Plaza Indonesia on the 22nd February 2025 marked a key moment in sharing Indonesian heritage with the world, celebrating resilience, love, and traditional values that both OE and Tentrem Rona Jawi uphold.

Tentrem Rona Jawi will roll out additional collaborations in June and October 2025, featuring partnerships with top local artists and brands. These events seek to keep Javanese artistry alive by blending cultural elements with modern appeal.
