Hennessy has announced the Top 10 Finalists of Hennessy MyWay 2026, marking the next stage of its global cocktail competition that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and purpose-driven bartending.
Bartenders from across Indonesia were invited to submit an original cocktail concept alongside a video demonstrating their service ritual. Entries were judged on creativity, sustainability, drinkability, product knowledge and overall execution.

Hennessy MyWay continues to provide a platform for bartenders to develop their skills, challenge conventions and gain international recognition. The competition also supports Indonesia’s growing bartending community by creating opportunities for local talent to compete on the global stage.

The competition has now moved into the physical judging stage. On 2 July 2026, six semi-finalists from Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Balikpapan competed at the Hennessy Boutique, Senayan City, Jakarta, where they presented their cocktails and service rituals to the judging panel.

The judging continued in Bali on 8 and 9 July 2026, with the panel visiting the venues of the four Bali-based semi-finalists. Each bartender presented their cocktail, service ritual and overall guest experience within their own bar environment, allowing judges to assess the authenticity and quality of each presentation.
The judging panel included a representative from Maison Hennessy, former Hennessy MyWay winners and an industry professional. Standardised judging criteria were used throughout the competition to ensure a fair and consistent evaluation process.

The physical judging stage will determine which bartenders progress to the National Final, where they will compete for the opportunity to represent Indonesia at the Hennessy MyWay Global Final in France.
As Hennessy MyWay 2026 continues, the competition remains dedicated to celebrating creativity, individuality and responsible craftsmanship while giving talented bartenders a platform to share their stories and showcase their skills on the world stage.
