AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach introduces KISIK Seafood & Grill: Living the Heritage, a weekly beachfront dining experience that combines fresh seafood, traditional performances, and local storytelling. Held every Friday and Sunday overlooking Waecicu Bay at sunset, the event offers guests an authentic introduction to the culture of Flores and the wider East Nusa Tenggara region.
The evening begins with a ceremonial welcome inspired by Manggarai traditions before guests enjoy a programme of cultural performances. Highlights include the Tiba Meka welcoming ritual, the energetic Caci whip dance, the interactive Rangku Alu bamboo dance, and live music performed on the traditional sasando from Rote Island.

The dining experience features set menus showcasing the region’s fresh seafood and open-fire grilling. Guests can enjoy dishes including fish, squid, clams, prawns, and lobster, accompanied by local flavours and seasonal ingredients. Desserts range from traditional fried banana to modern creations inspired by local produce. Set menus start from IDR 800,000++ (approximately USD 46++) per person.
Through Living the Heritage, AYANA Komodo supports responsible tourism by working with local performers and artisans, helping to preserve cultural traditions while creating meaningful experiences for visitors.

By combining local cuisine, cultural performances, and the natural beauty of Waecicu Bay, KISIK Seafood & Grill offers guests a unique way to experience the heritage of Komodo beyond its famous landscapes.
