Enhancing Guest Comfort, The Papandayan Renovates All Rooms and Several Facilities

The Papandayan, a five-star hotel known for its Classic Elegance design, remains committed to delivering comfort, luxury, and the finest hospitality to every guest. Ideally located in the heart of Bandung’s business district at Jalan Gatot Subroto 83 – Bandung, the hotel offers easy access to business areas while providing a tranquil escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

The Suite Bedroom at The Papandayan boasts a king-sized bed, blue and beige decor, a cozy seating area by the window, a wall-mounted TV, and a stylish lamp on the bedside table.

Established in 1990, The Papandayan underwent a major renovation that required a temporary closure for a year. Reopening in 2011, the hotel introduced a refreshed design with a Classic Elegance theme and upgraded its classification to a five-star hotel. By the end of 2024, The Papandayan completed a full-scale renovation, updating all guest rooms and several key hotel facilities.

The Papandayan features 172 elegantly designed guest rooms, including The Classic, The Premier, The Ambassador, The Suite, and the Presidential Suite. Each room is thoughtfully decorated with natural elements such as stone, wood, and artwork reflecting local culture. The latest renovations include new carpets, wallpaper, sofa covers, lighting, the addition of a daybed in the suite rooms, and fresh interior touches that create a more inviting and comfortable ambience.

The Papandayan's Suagi Ballroom boasts a large banquet hall adorned with chandeliers, featuring patterned carpet and round tables draped in elegant white tablecloths, surrounded by sleek black chairs.

The renovation also extends to Suagi Ballroom, a pillarless 30 x 18-meter venue that accommodates up to 2,000 guests for receptions and 400 for seated events. Now, the ballroom boasts a more modern aesthetic with new wallpaper, carpets, ceiling enhancements, and improved lighting to elevate its grandeur. Additionally, the ballroom is now equipped with four large permanent LED screens, providing an enhanced experience for event organizers and attendees. The Papandayan also offers other event spaces, such as the Cimanuk Room, which can accommodate 200 guests for a standing reception and 150 for seated events, along with 14 additional meeting rooms, each with a capacity of up to 80 guests.

As a hotel with comprehensive facilities, The Papandayan offers a variety of dining options, including Pago Restaurant, Mirten Lounge, Huru Batu Grill Garden, and Cantigi Wine & Dine. Pago Restaurant has also undergone improvements, particularly in its outdoor terrace area, which is now equipped with a retractable canopy for added guest comfort.

Other facilities at The Papandayan include the Tropical Garden, Edelweiss Spa, Beauty Salon, Fitness Center, Kids Club, and a Swimming Pool, now featuring heated water, making it a favourite activity among staying guests.

The Papandayan offers a Suite Living Room exuding luxury, featuring blue walls and floral carpets. Inside, relax on a beige sofa beside a black table, while a desk with a lamp and wall-mounted TV complete the space. Enjoy natural light from the window and delightful fruit on side tables.

“With these newly updated facilities, The Papandayan is committed to offering even greater comfort for every guest. With our tagline, ‘Where You Can Experience A Balance In Life,’ we believe The Papandayan is an excellent choice for both business and leisure stays in Bandung,” said Bobby Renaldi, General Manager of The Papandayan.
