Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan has officially opened Embers Open-Fire Grill, its new signature restaurant, offering guests a contemporary dining experience where global grilling traditions meet modern elegance.
At the heart of Embers is a lively open kitchen, where chefs prepare dishes over flames, bringing bold flavours and a warm atmosphere to the dining room. The concept combines Japanese precision with Indonesian soul, creating a refined yet approachable menu centred on premium meats, fresh seafood, and seasonal produce.
Highlights include Australian Black Angus Beef Yakitori, sashimi-style Tuna Tartare with charred citrus, and Smoked Pumpkin Soup presented with a dramatic live smoke effect. From the grill, guests can enjoy Tajima Wagyu Ribeye, Tomahawk Steak, and Smoked Wagyu Brisket, alongside seafood options such as Grilled Barramundi with shiso lime dressing and Prawn Skewers with soy–mirin glaze. Desserts continue the theme of fire and flair, with Charred Pineapple Flambé and Poached Pear with charcoal-infused vanilla ice cream.
Complementing the food is the Behind Bar concept, which transforms from a refreshing daytime drinks corner into an interactive cocktail bar at night. Guests are invited to engage with bartenders and sample house-crafted beverages in a relaxed social setting.
