Hotel Tentrem proudly presents “Tentrem Ing Rasa,” a special culinary event celebrating Indonesia’s rich culture and traditions. Held during Ramadan, this event offers a unique dining experience across its three properties in Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Jakarta.
At “Tentrem Ing Rasa,” four Tentrem Hotel chefs come together to showcase signature dishes from each city. The event takes place at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta (8-9 March 2025), Hotel Tentrem Semarang (13-14 March 2025), and Hotel Tentrem Jakarta (21-22 March 2025). This collaboration features Executive Chef Philip Walasary from Yogyakarta, Executive Chef Alfi Ardian from Semarang, and Executive Chef Ivan Mangundap from Jakarta, all led by Tentrem Hotels’ Executive Chef, Sky Lee.

“Tentrem ing Rasa is a space for us to channel our skills in creating culinary creations that not only satisfy the taste buds but also provide a deep experience of Indonesian cultural heritage,” said Executive Chef Sky Lee. “We hope this event will not only present delicious food, but also brings value and stories that touch the hearts of guests.”
Special Menu Servings
This collaboration event will feature a variety of exciting dishes. Each chef brings signature flavours from their city while blending tradition with modern culinary trends, creating dishes with unique stories.
- Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta: Kejutan dalam Sajian Klasik
Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta presents classic local favourites like Gudeg, Sate Klathak, Mangut Lele, and Mie Lethek. Adding a unique twist, the gudeg selection includes Gudeg Manggar, made from young coconut flowers. Chef Philip Walasary also surprises with innovative desserts—Gudeg Ice Cream, blending jackfruit with creamy coconut milk, and Pecel Ice Cream, offering a nutty flavour with hints of orange and ginger. - Hotel Tentrem Semarang: Babat Gongso & Salmon Asam Gelugur
Babat Gongso, a Semarang speciality, features tender beef tripe cooked in a rich, spicy-sweet sauce. Paired with Gelugur Sour Salmon, the dish offers a fresh, tangy twist, blending the zesty gelugur with the delicate flavour of salmon for an innovative take on tradition. - Hotel Tentrem Jakarta: Bebek Cibeber & Ayam Bakar Rabeg
Bebek Cibeber, a Banten speciality, is served with a modern touch while keeping its authentic flavour. Paired with Ayam Bakar Rabeg, seasoned with Madurese spices, this dish offers a delicious blend of spicy, savoury, and rich flavours.
These dishes offer guests a taste of Indonesia’s unique and rich culinary heritage.
