ArtMoments Jakarta, one of the capital’s most respected and anticipated art fairs, returns from 7–10 August 2025 with a renewed vision and a brand-new venue—AGORA Exhibition Hall, located in the Thamrin 9 Complex. This move marks a significant step forward for the fair, aiming to deepen public engagement and spark broader artistic conversations.
With the theme “Restoration”, this year’s edition reflects a global desire to rediscover joy, reconnect with humanity, and reimagine the future through art. Co-Founder and Fair Director, Sendy Widjaja, shared: “After years of global uncertainty and cultural upheaval, 2025 feels like a powerful moment to pause, reflect, and restore.”
The new venue, AGORA, is centrally located in Jakarta and easily accessible by both public and private transport. This strategic choice aligns with the fair’s commitment to inclusivity and a stronger connection with the city’s vibrant creative community.

Sujud Dartanto, Artistic Director of ArtMoments Jakarta 2025, noted: “The fair’s curatorial narrative will explore themes of survival, identity, climate awareness, and cultural revival. Visitors can expect site-specific installations, archival interventions, immersive exhibitions, and interdisciplinary programs—all designed to spark reflection and renewal.”
Led by Sendy, the fair continues to position art as a living dialogue—addressing loss, healing, and transformation. Over 50 national and international exhibitors will participate, showcasing works from more than 100 artists worldwide.
A major highlight will be a tribute to four iconic figures of Indonesian modern art—Sudjana Kerton, Ahmad Sadali, S. Sudjojono, and Fadjar Sidik. In honour of Indonesia’s upcoming 80th Independence Day, their contributions will be celebrated through a focused presentation that bridges past and present, reinforcing the fair’s central message of resilience and rebirth.

ArtMoments Jakarta 2025 also broadens its scope with the inclusion of performance art, digital installations, and new media—capturing the evolving energy of today’s creative landscape. Cindy Ozzie, Chief Marketing Officer, announced the debut of the Young Collectors Program, aimed at introducing younger audiences to art collecting and supporting the next generation of culturally curious professionals and creative entrepreneurs.
The fair will also host a special exhibition titled “Art and Embodiment”, inviting open discussions around the body, memory, identity, and form. Internationally, the event will feature a presentation by Filipino artist Gerardo Tan, represented by Drawing Room Manila, including works previously shown at the Venice Biennale—highlighting the fair’s growing global reach.
With a bold new vision, ArtMoments Jakarta 2025 sets the stage for a more connected, inclusive, and emotionally resonant future for contemporary art in Indonesia and beyond.

As proud hotel sponsor, Pan Pacific Jakarta supports the fair’s mission of promoting creativity and cultural dialogue. General Manager Sjefke Jansen shared: “We are delighted to have you with us as we share our vision and commitment to the arts. At Pan Pacific Hotels Group, we are committed to contributing to a clean, green and sustainable future. Supporting ArtMoments Jakarta is not just a partnership—it is a reflection of our dedication to the arts.”
He added that Pan Pacific Jakarta, with its refined luxury and heartfelt hospitality, is honoured to support a city celebrated for its vibrant culture and artistic spirit: “Through this collaboration, we aim to provide a meaningful platform where artists, collectors, and enthusiasts can connect, inspire, and celebrate the transformative power of art.”
