A Taste of Seoul’s Contemporary Dessert Scene with Honeybee Seoul at The St. Regis Jakarta

The St. Regis Jakarta introduces a special Korean-inspired afternoon tea experience in collaboration with renowned pastry chef Eunjung Cho of Honeybee Seoul. The partnership also features a selection of contemporary Korean cakes that reflect her modern and refined pastry style.

Recognised as one of Seoul’s leading pastry chefs, Chef Eunjung Cho is the author of several acclaimed books, including Cookies, Café Dessert Masterclass, and The Seasons Dessert. Since founding Honeybee Seoul in 2013, she has played a significant role in shaping Korea’s modern dessert scene and inspiring a new generation of pastry enthusiasts.

Together with Executive Pastry Chef Kevin Lee, Chef Cho presents A Tale of Three Heritages Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room. The experience combines culinary influences from France, Korea, and Indonesia. Chef Lee’s savoury creations reflect his French heritage with Indonesian touches, while Chef Cho’s desserts are inspired by Seoul’s contemporary café culture and crafted using premium Valrhona chocolate.

The collaboration also extends to Rosé Gourmand Deli with A Slice of Seoul, featuring Chef Cho’s signature Bear Cake, a popular creation known for its balance of technical craftsmanship and playful design.

Available from 19 June to 31 July, the collaboration brings a taste of Seoul’s contemporary dessert culture to Jakarta through an elegant collection of afternoon tea treats and signature cakes.
