The Coach Restaurant introduces a new weekly dining ritual in Jakarta with the launch of Prime Rib Sundays, in partnership with Canada Beef. Inspired by traditional New York Sunday dining, the programme invites guests to slow down, gather, and enjoy a classic carved prime rib experience.
Canadian beef is widely recognised for its grain-fed quality, producing meat that is well-marbled, tender, and flavourful. Raised in Canada’s clean natural environment and supported by responsible farming practices, it is also graded through a strict and impartial system to ensure consistent quality. These qualities make it ideal for slow roasting and tableside carving, forming the foundation of Prime Rib Sundays.
At the centre of the experience is a slow-roasted, 14-day dry-aged Canadian grain-fed rib eye, carved fresh from a tableside cart and served with classic comforting sides. Designed as a shared dining experience, the weekly offering encourages togetherness, whether enjoyed individually, as a couple, or with family.
“Sunday in New York has always been about taking your time and sharing good food with people you care about,” said Chef Gabriel Jamias, Executive Chef of The Coach Restaurant. “With Prime Rib Sundays, we wanted to bring that feeling to Jakarta through a dish that is classic, comforting, and meant to be enjoyed together.”
Available every Sunday in limited quantities, guests may choose from three curated cuts, each served with buttery mashed potato, creamed corn and spinach, cheddar biscuits, and rich onion gravy:

A satisfying portion ideal for a relaxed solo Sunday. - The Coach Cut (300g) – IDR 899,000++
Designed for sharing and suitable for couples. - Rexy’s Famous Cut (600g) – IDR 1,499,000++
A generous family-style portion for the centre of the table.
Additional Sunday-only touches enhance the experience. Families ordering Rexy’s Famous Cut receive complimentary kids’ smoothies for up to two children, while couples choosing The Coach Cut enjoy a complimentary dessert, either a New York cheesecake or classic sundae.
With its tableside carving presentation, comforting sides, and communal spirit, Prime Rib Sundays aims to introduce a new Sunday dining culture in Jakarta, centred on warmth, tradition, and New York-style hospitality. The programme will be available every Sunday starting February 2026, with limited portions each week.
